The daughter of former NBA player, and Jazz musician Wayman Tisdale, Chef Tiffany Tisdale-Braxton, was inspired by her father to pursue her cooking passion. When she was a child, her father was sick and could not eat for a week, but his daughter’s cooking helped bring him back to full strength. That was all Tiffany needed to dive into the cuisine life and never look back.

Following her passion

After graduating from college, Tiffany entered the Oklahoma culinary scene and has been in the area for over nine years. She is a culinary influencer and owner of Tisdale23 Catering and Event Planning. Chef Tiffany is also the author of her newest e-book, “Work Mom’s Guide to Surviving Weeknight Meals.”

Loving the Luxury of a Gas

Tiffany has various favorites but loves cooking Southern soul, Asian and Mediterranean food, and always cooks with natural gas. She loves the even heat, and how searing is more comfortable with natural gas. After trying natural gas, she could not get over how much better the entire cooking experience was. That is why you will see Tiffany preparing her favorite dishes on natural gas appliances.
