For Immediate Release
(Washington, DC) –The Energy Solutions Center (ESC) is pleased to announce that its Gas Foodservice Equipment Network Consortium (GFEN), dedicated to bringing new gas solutions to the restaurant and foodservice industry, has selected the FilterQuick™ Frymaster Fryer Model FQG30U for its 2016 Blue Flame Award Product of the Year. Manitowoc Foodservice, the maker of the Fryer, will be presented with the award at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 21st at the National Restaurant Association show.
FilterQuick™ with automatic filtration and an optional integrated Oil Quality Sensor is the first fryer that not only puts automatic filtration at your fingertips, it also monitors the quality of your oil and tells you when the oil needs to be discarded.
The innovative oil quality sensor measures the total polar material (TPM) contaminants in the oil and advises when the oil needs to be changed, keeping food quality and customer satisfaction at an all-time high. This newest addition to Frymaster’s growing family of oil and energy conserving fryers offers closed cabinet, automatic filtration, placing care of the oil and optimization of food quality at your fingertips and right on the front of the fryer! Additionally, SMART4U® technology, such as the Oil Attendant®, automatically replenishes oil from an in-cabinet oil supply while the FilterQuick controller monitors and helps control food and oil quality, oil life, and equipment performance all while improving profit margins and frying superiority.
“Congratulations to Frymaster on such an innovative fryer design! A fryer that saves energy and preserves the oil quality only benefits the customer’s frying capability by producing high volume and quality product!” added Ann Lovcik, CenterPoint Energy and co-product champion of GFEN along with Lorri Davidson of Southwest Gas.
